Case Study 1: Seafood Processing
In July 2024, a customer in the shellfish manufacturing industry required 15 temporary staff to assist with shell processing. Since the demand was limited to the July-August period, hiring permanent workers was not cost-effective in terms of ROI. Upon receiving the request, two of our experienced team members visited the factory and spent two days capturing every detail of the shellfish processing workflow. This allowed us to create a comprehensive SOP, which we used to provide induction training for our temporary staff. Additionally, recognising that some workers faced language barriers, we translated the induction materials into multiple languages to ensure full understanding and smooth operation.
Case Study 2: Warehouse Solution
As the dawn of the peak season approaches, wholesalers begin preparing for Halloween, Christmas Day, school holidays, and the upcoming summer, causing warehouses and logistics to become increasingly busy. One of our warehouse client required 10 temporary staff, with 6 of them assigned to the devanning team and the rest of 4 to the order-picking team.
To ensure smooth operations, one of our support team members, who has over 10 years of warehouse experience, visited the facility and created a detailed SOP within just a day. Additionally, our Plan B team provided extra recommendations for pallet wrapping and devanning processes, which not only supplied the necessary labour but also improved the client’s overall efficiency.
